MYOB (Mind Your Own Business) Accounting is an accounting
software if the data are integrated (integrated software), the process of data
recording accounting transactions done by mengentri transaction data through a
media form located in the command center, then the program will process the
MYOB automatic, fast, accurate, and integrated into all accounting records and
financial statements ended. MYOB Accounting can be applied to various types of
companies, both in services, trade (retail) and industrial (processing), and
agriculture and other businesses.
Software is created by MYOB Limited of Australia and has been used in various countries, whether in Europe, America, Canada, and Asia. Now present version of MYOB Accounting 17. MYOB Accounting has many advantages including:
Advantages:
1. User friendly (easy to use), and even by a layman who does not have the basic knowledge of accounting.
2. The level of security is quite valid for each user.
3. Exploration capabilities all reports to Excel program without going through the process of exporting / importing files that are troublesome.
4. Ability trash all reports back to the source documents and other transactions.
5. Can be applied to 105 types of companies that have been recommended.
6. Displaying comparative financial statements (comparative) and displays the analysis report in the form of graphs.
7. Easy to understand and use, so that it can be taught to students vocational / high school and college students, as well as learned by the user independently for direct application in the management of the company.
8. Can be applied to other types of business in Indonesia, both for small, medium, and large
The downside:
1. No fixed assets module, so if the company requires the module to manage the assets owned by the need to buy add on again
2. No intercompany Reporting module, so if the company requires the module to create consolidated financial statements should purchase the add on again
3. Multi Warehouse weakness that resulted in the management of consignment of goods is relatively difficult to maintain in the MYOB.
4. Can not be used to manage the company with multi company, means the consolidated statements can not be expected to be made using MYOB.
5. MYOB is a file based database that is less optimal when used for large and complex transactions. Recent issues MYOB will use server-based to database so that the optimization of data processing is more realistic.
